School Experience Days

From our studio in Gilston on the Gold Coast, we also offer School Experience Days.

These days are designed to bring your students into our creative space to record, mix, engineer, write, produce music and have them gain a life changing experience in a real world recording studio. Perfect for music students and classes looking to explore professional career paths within the arts industry. Both facilitators Guy Cooper & Jake Morton are hold honors degrees in music and masters in the creative industries.

The days usually involve students forming bands or groups prior to the day with the help of their music teacher and then recording their songs (or covers), followed by mixing and mastering in our studio. Teachers are then provided after the sessions with fully mixed and mastered tracks for their students to use, share, release or showcase. We can alternatively facilitate the creation of a song with students in the studio, along with recording, but this limits the time we have to record and produce the song.

All our employee's hold current Blue Cards and are experienced at working with students and children, including currently lecturing in Creative Industries, Music & Audio at local university's. Typically we host these days for High School students from grades 9-12, but the day can be tailored to suit your student's needs. A class size of around 20 is ideal, but we have catered to 30 on previous occasions.
